Before you ask
Bats or spiders — which should I get?
Bats read better spread across a large wall or up a staircase, because the wingspan carries from a distance. Spiders work better clustered in a corner, around a doorframe or over a mirror. Same LED lights, same fold-out build, same price per set — it's purely what you want on the wall.
Will they fall off if my wall isn't perfect?
On a smooth, clean surface they hold fine. On textured plaster, exposed brick or heavy orange peel the adhesive struggles — use mounting putty instead of the included backing.
Will it damage my paint?
On cured paint, usually not. On fresh paint, wallpaper or delicate finishes the adhesive can lift the surface. Test one of the small pieces somewhere hidden first.
How long do the batteries last?
We don't publish a number, because we don't have a verified figure from the manufacturer and we're not going to make one up. They're built for a decorating season with nighttime use.
Can I use them again next year?
The decals and lights, yes. The adhesive loses its grip once peeled, so keep double-sided tape on hand for next season.
Can I put them outside or on the front door?
We don't recommend it. They're made for indoors — neither the adhesive nor the lights are rated for rain or humidity.
Will it arrive before Halloween?
Delivery is 7-14 business days. Order three weeks out and yes. Once the date stops leaving room, we'll say so right on this page rather than letting you do the math.
Will I owe anything on delivery?
No. Import duties are included in the price. Sales tax is added at checkout based on your state, and that's the whole bill.
Which size should I get?
One set covers a wall or a hallway well. If you want it to read from across the room, or you're doing two areas, two sets work out cheaper per piece and clear the free shipping threshold.
